If you're on the lookout for an authentic culinary experience in Kuantan, look no further than Restoran Sedap Wehh. Nestled along Jln Bypass Kuantan in Kampung Batu Tujuh, this restaurant has quickly become a beloved spot for locals and visitors alike. Known for its delectable array of traditional Malay dishes, Restoran Sedap Wehh is a gateway to Pahang's vibrant food culture.
What sets this restaurant apart is its signature dish: the patin fish cooked in tempoyak gravy. Diners rave about the dish's rich flavors—a perfect balance of spicy, sweet, and salty that lingers on the palate. At approximately RM10 for generous portions, it's no wonder this dish has taken the crown as a must-try for many, including fans like Azreenain Isa, who described it as "absolutely the bomb!"
However, the menu doesn't stop there. The buffet-style offerings include a variety of tantalizing choices such as grilled stingray, daging salai masak lemak, and gulai kawah. While the spiciness of the grilled stingray might be intense for some, it's hard to deny the explosion of flavors it provides. As Azmi Mahamad noted, the array of dishes is sure to satisfy even the hungriest of patrons, making it a perfect stop after a long day of adventure.
What truly enhances the experience at Restoran Sedap Wehh is the inviting atmosphere. With plenty of parking available and a lively vibe that makes you feel at home, it’s easy to understand why the place draws a crowd. Plus, the option for self-service drinks, including refreshing air balang options, complements the main dishes perfectly.
If you find yourself in the vicinity, don’t miss out on a visit to Restoran Sedap Wehh. Whether you're craving a comforting bowl of pais patin tempoyak or eager to indulge in a feast of kampung flavors, this place promises a delightful culinary journey. This restaurant is seriously delicious — one of my favorites to visit! The patin fish in tempoyak gravy is absolutely the bomb! It’s my top favorite. If I’m not mistaken, the price for the head or body portion is around RM10 — and the portion is big and satisfying. Even the gravy is delicious — the flavor is well-balanced with the right mix of spicy, sweet, and salty. I love it! As for the grilled stingray, it was a bit too spicy for me. Maybe the owner can tone down the spiciness to a more moderate level. But honestly, even though it was super spicy, it was still so tasty and full of flavor — I loved it! Hehe.

Menu lauk pauk yg banyak. Signature is tempoyak. Ada busking. Parking is available, in front of the restaurant and by the roadside. Take food, sit, and someone will come and set price.

Restoran Sedap Wehh – Kuantan Second time here… and wow, still blown away! This round, I came with a group of friends fresh from our Rainbow Waterfall expedition—muddy shoes, hungry bellies, and dreams of a proper Pahang feast. The moment we stepped in, the buffet line hit us like a wave of temptation—patin masak tempoyak steaming hot, pais patin fresh from its foil, daging salai masak lemak rich and smoky, trays of gulai, kerabu, and enough ulam to make any kampung proud. I went straight for the patin head in creamy, tangy tempoyak—every bite was a flavour bomb. My friends? Busy attacking sambal belacan, fried fish, and all sorts of colourful lauk. Drinks? Icy mango and pandan—sweet, cold, and the perfect cooldown after the spicy kick. The vibe? Lively, warm, and bustling with that “you’re home” energy. This place doesn’t just feed you—it spoils you. True to its name… sedap weh!

We accidentally found this place right beside the highway on our way back to Melaka. Seeing lots of cars parked outside, we decided to stop for lunch. All I can say is, "Sedap wehh!!!" Everything we ate was so delicious. We tried the Pais Patin Tempoyak, Ayam Percik, Sotong Sambal, Gulai Kawah Daging, and Ulam all were amazing! Highly recommended if you’re passing by!
